DoubleTree by Hilton London Heathrow Airport

Desk staff was very kind and patient. Room was very clean.

No face cloth. No breakfast accommodation for early checkout.

We enjoyed the warm cookies upon check in and the cleanliness of the room.

The hallways and rooms are quite tired looking. Carpets are well worn and the bathrooms were outdated. This was most definitely not a four star property.

Modern clean bathroom, bathtub. Generally well appointed room.

No usb or plug outlets near bed. Heating on a timer. TV stopped responding to remote. A couple times. Housekeeping explained to switch off at the plug, then it worked again for a while.

Location and restaraunt

Room smelled like mildew and mold; No shuttle to the airport without a fee and not useful for those who have early flights before 7.

room's AC did not work when we checked in. Contacted staff and they tried to fix the problem but no success. It was late and they gave us a fan to stay that night in our room since the hotel was fully booked and our kids were asleep in the other room.

I checked in around 8pm and had two rooms booked, First night for a 4 night stay, our room's AC did not work, the safe had no door to keep your valuables, and no bar soap in shower. Kids room AC was dripping water from AC vent,making loud noise on carpet

Airport shuttle, conveniently located near bus transportation and a market, on-site restaurant and Covid testing clinic, and the delicious signature Doubletree cookies

The price was good and it was near the airport. Also the staff was helpful and even offered to pre-order my taxi for early departure. The taxi they ordered was great, and cheaper than the one I took to get there the evening before.

The first room smelled like someone bathed it in bleach - to the point it gave me a headache. When I called the front desk about it, the phone fell apart. Upholstery dirty, room worn looking

Personnel cheerful and professional, rapid. And the warm double chocolate chip cookie didn't hurt! (except maybe my waistline!)

Bathroom door slams shut. View of other windows ugly, you feel self-conscious as people can look in your room. Worst is location: you must take a paid shuttle, it doesn't accept credit card, so must exchange $ BACK in airport! Regular bus complicated.

A bit far from terminals... Hoppa bus will take you there in 30 minutes

I did not like the fact that the "shuttle" to the hotel from the airport was actually a privately-operated bus that charged for the service. It runs fairly infrequently, and it was not what I would consider cheap.

I didn't like anything about this hotel. No value for your money.

Lots of things were wrong. Dirty rooms (changed one, didn't bother to change the second- I was tired). Wifi was very slow - can't surf properly nor having a regular VOIP call. Nothing is included in price - everything is an add-on.

THe Bar/Lounger staff was great, the food was good.

Toilets would not clear, Room maintenance was poor cleanliness would not well done, responsiveness was very slow.

The staff in the lounge was outstanding. Caring and knowlegable. The front desk was very frustrating. Sometimes on the ball sometimes, but at times none at the desk? Dining staff below standard especially the females.

Staff was simply amazing especially at check-in. Rooms were clean and spacious. I received a warm cookie on arrival!! Very nice breakfast with great selection and a coffee machine

no continental breakfast/ luggage stand / power plug adapter & advertised shuttle was a pay bus

Very clean. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Nice restaurant and lounge. Comfortable, quiet room.

The location

The hotel was undergoing construction and I was not made aware of this when booking. The bar and restaurant felt like I was sitting at a school cafeteria. Very disappointed
